School and other things...

Good grief! Or so Charlie Brown would say... Except, I mean it in a good way (??).

After a day of running around the corridors, gathering people like sheep, shouting out announcements and tallying and endless number of votes, one realises that there's more to life than football, ice-cream and samosas... or maybe all that is just part of the whole...

So here I sit, in a pair of new tracks which I strongly suspect should have been thrown in for a preliminary wash because they smell strange. I don't think I've ever written a sentence that long without commas... Grammar-Nazi that I am...
We should start a Grammar-Nazi Club in school.
Lesson One: The difference between 'back' and 'backside'...
Lesson Two: The difference between 'Bag' and 'Cover'...
Lesson Three: Enunciation of the letter 'Y'... and also, the difference between 'alphabet' and 'letter'!
Lesson Four: How not to mistake sexual allusions for abusive gestures... Sounds random, but is quite specific... 14-year olds (rolls eyes)... (Please ask me if you are wondering what the bloody hell this is about!)

The weather right now is very beach-like! :) soft evening light, strong, warm breeze... my favourite!

I take my leave! Heil!

Der Regen...

What can one do if he has just discovered a new-found love and awe for 'Indian Rondo', but can only find a low-quality performance by our own brass band on 'youtube'?
Listening to 'Stand Up and Fight' by Turisas on repeat should not be counted as a start...
For those who don't know, Turisas is a Finland-based Viking-Metal Band famous for their bad-ass, fiery live shows and their epic Orchestral metal... I have yet to meet someone (besides me, of course) who appreciates their wackiness...

Guess what! I found a somewhat substantial description of the manufacture of nail polish! My Chemistry project can now progress unhindered!
I also found out that nail polish is dangerous for asthma patients, and also contains formaldehyde, a 'mild' carcinogen... That's fun...

The weather can't make up its mind whether it wants to be sunny or cloudy, and that is very annoying, for some reason... Oh! It's started raining! That's a start...

I had a recent revelation that some of my friends are connoisseurs of Hindi films and Music... Is it okay to be proud not to be one? Or is it just plain un-patriotic, if that's a word!

It's started pouring bloody murder now, if rain can do that...

I just realised that my blog posting is very random... every new line has absolutely nothing to do with the previous line... sort of like life, in its own way, innit? Wickedly awesome though! Life, I mean, not the blog... that would be vain...
Let's not go there now...

I shall take my leave now, because I feel like standing in the rain for a while... :)

Change of Season...

Politics... Where greed wears the mask of morality.
Who would have thought that it would get so very sticky... But sometimes, being a smiling observer pays off! Or maybe that's just because you have some security... I doubt many of you have any idea of what I'm talking about!
To those who do, and to those who would resort to dirty politics, all that can be said is summed up in the third scene of the First Act of Macbeth. Lines 129 to 136, to be precise.

The Summer Solstice has come and gone, and there is a change in the winds, as the old world mixes with the new, and strange, exciting things begin to manifest.

The rains are here, if only in modesty, and they fill the air with a chill, and the energies of excitement! With Vikings, Iron maiden and Sherlock floating around in the head, it seems all is quite well with the world, in terms of discovery and joy.

And yet, I cannot find a good description of the industrial manufacture of nail polish...
